The message from Paris Saint-Germain after the first leg defeat to Real Madrid has been one of hope and young forward Kylian Mbappe has toed the line with his own social media posts.
The striker was strongly linked with a move to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in the summer, instead choosing PSG, but his team was on the wrong end of a 3-1 defeat in the last-16 of the Champions League on Wednesday night.
“A loss is hard to accept but nothing is over, we still have a great battle to qualify,” he wrote on Instagram.
“We have the quality but we also need the determination and the desire.
“At the Parc des Principes EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE and we know that the fans will be on fire to support us until the end.
“We will give our heart and soul to make history together… HERE IN PARIS [sic].”
Mbappe will be hoping to get onto the scoresheet to continue his fine scoring form this season when the teams reconvene on March 6.
